A detailed account and study of the different uniforms of the Australian Colonies, intended to acknowledge and preserve Australian military dress and accoutrements through history. Written by Alfred N. Festberg, a German-born military historian who moved to Great Britain to escape the Nazi regime, and Barry John Videon, an Australian military historian and member of the Military Historical Society (UK), he is also a founding member of the Military Historical Society for Australia.
Illustrated with naive style drawings that show uniforms in full colour. This is a very rare book, published in the early 1970s by Hill of Content.
This copy is in Very Good condition. There is some minor foxing of the endpapers and it is musty from storage. As always, the photos are of the book you will receive.
