An excellent reference work which provides a nice overview of the various types of submarines used by the United States Navy during World War Two. In addition to general descriptions of the boats, along with brief discussion of some of the combat history, the book provides many black and white photographs along with line drawings and colour plates which serve to highlight the camouflage schemes in which these boats were painted.
