"The Tank Story" is a 64-page vintage softcover magazine published in 1972 by BPC Publishing as part of Purnell's History of the World Wars Special series. Edited by Andrew Kershaw, the illustrated issue explores the evolution and deployment of armored military vehicles from 1885 through World War I and World War II.
Part of the very popular Purnell - Pan/Ballantine - Macdonald series about the First and Second World Wars, published in the 1960s and 1970s by these various related publishing houses across the world. Printed on magazine stock paper they are reasonable quality and packed with information.
