Where volume 1 concentrates on the air force of WWII before Mussolini's arrest and ultimate demise this volume concentrates of the air force after Mussolini when the air force broke up into 2 parts - those that wanted to continue fighting with Germany (Aeronautica Nazionale Repubblicana) and those that wished to fight against Germany (the co-belligerents).
There are 9 pages of information detailing squadron camouflage and marking. These are in full colour with details for nose art in some cases.
