Omaha Beachhead: Battle for the Bocage is a grand tactical simulation of the American amphibious assault against the German-occupied coast of Normandy on June 6, 1944 and the subsequent ten-day battle for the beachhead. In turns representing one day, each player controls a force of infantry, artillery, tank, anti-tank, flak, and ranger units. The map, which was drawn from US Army maps actually carried in the battle, is a 1:50,000 representation of Normandy showing all of the geographical features that played a significant role in the campaign.
This game is in Good condition. The counters are considered unpunched, though a few have come loose and are included. There is some minor coloring of components. There is some shelfwear, notably of the box. As always, the photos are of the game you will receive.
