This book covers the history of the Royal Australian Air Force operations during the Vietnam War from 1964 to 1972.
A complete account of 7 1/2 years of operations by the RAAF in the Vietnam conflict. Beginning with a small Caribou transport flight in August 1964, by 1967 the RAAF had built up its strength to three operational squadrons:
- No. 2 Squadron flying Canberra bombers
- No. 9 Squadron flying Iroquois helicopters
- No. 35 Transport Squadron flying Caribou aircraft
Includes honours and awards for operational service in the Republic of Vietnam.
