Aircraft designs from Messerschmitt's early glider projects to WWII, and the sophisticated machines evolved in post WWII. Well written and divided into easy to follow sections on each aeroplane including variants like the 109 D, E, F, etc. The book is able to give a good impression of the way the Luftwaffe was supplied, the interaction between Udet and Milch with Messerschmitt and the way the aircraft evolved due to demand. Pritchard also portrays the Leviathan projects undertaken by Messerschmitt and the Amerika Bomber and Me 321 and 323.
