This book charts the Halifax's history from original design concept through its development and wartime roles and operations.
The Handley Page Halifax was one of the finest aircraft to be built during World War II. It was built to take a great deal of punishment, and it served in Bomber Command, Coastal Command and towed gliders, especially the heavy tank carrying gliders.
This copy is in Very Good condition. There is some spotting/marking of the some pages and dust jacket. There is some minor shelf wear and it is a little musty from storage. As usual, photos are of the item that you will receive.
