"German Helicopters 1928-1945" attempts to cover an often neglected aspect of German aircraft development before and during the Second World War. It is roughly chronological in order starting with the development of autogyros such as the FW C-19 and C-30 (themselves derived from Cierva designs), before moving on to pure German helicopters such as the Flettner Fl 185, Fw 61, and Fa 223.
