5 Leander class cruisers (Leander, Orion, Achilles, Neptune, and Ajax) were completed between March 1933 and April 1935. Ajax & Achilles were part of the River Platte battles, most later served against the Japanese. Neptune was mined and sunk off Tripoli 12/19/41.
