As well as fighting in the Peninsula war they were heavily engaged during the Waterloo campaign in 1815. They helped screen the armies withdrawal from Quatra Bras and suffered many casualties as part of Lord Somerset's Brigade at Waterloo itself (losing 320 men out of 696)
