This book covers the first, frustrating campaign against North Vietnam (1965-68), when the Americans kept trying to find a formula that would work and never quite did; the interval of 1969-71; and the final campaign against the North when US military air power did prevail over the North Vietnamese (1972-73).
The book is illustrated with 200 photographs, most of which have never before been published and may of which show rare or previously un-illustrated aircraft. Eight clear line maps and tactical drawings graphically illustrate the problems faced by US aircrews and planners.
This copy is in Good condition. There is some minor coloring and marking of the page edges and cover. There is some minor shelf wear. As usual, photos are of the item that you will receive.
