Forager is a fast, fun Napoleonic skirmish game, where players command several individual characters which they use to pit their wits against another player’s ‘command’.
Players must compete against each other, and non-player characters (NPC) (for example a Spanish peasant), to achieve scenario objectives and any side plots that have been woven into the scenarios. These are called points of ‘daring do’. Games can be played with or without points, on a table as small as three feet by three feet with forces that range from a figure per side to as many figures as the player feels they can accommodate.
Forager is set against a backdrop of the Peninsula War 1808-1814, although there is nothing to stop you gaming other theatres of the Napoleonic Wars.
