Filled with color illustrations, this book is an great guide to uniforms of the Napoleonic Wars. The uniforms are nicely illustrated and there is an interesting commentary to put the various nations and their regiments into the context of the Napoleonic wars. Easy to follow tables helpfully detail variations in facing colours etc between different regiments of that troop type. Vol 2 is the French Imperial Guard, German allies inc. Bavaria, also Austria, Russia, Sweden and Spain.
