One German Pak 36 37mm Anti-tank gun with crew.
The 3.7cm PaK 36 was the German’s standard anti-tank weapon at the outbreak of war in 1939. It proved to be an excellent weapon during the early years of the war until the introduction of well-armoured tanks such as the T-34 rendered it obsolete.
The introduction of the Stielgranate round in 1942 gave it quite a punch at short range. It could penetrate 180mm at 100m, but required nerves of steel from the crew, "shooting with the Stielgranate required more nerves than tank close combat" (official report from the 1st Infantry division).
This sprue can be built as either the PaK 36, Pak 36 with Stielgranate or Nebelwerfer rocket launcher.
