Corbridge Roman Site - English Heritage - Softcover - Very Good

Regular price $7.95

The Roman site at Corbridge was strategically placed at the intersection of one of the principal routes into Scotland and a line of communication between the Tyne and the Solway. Lying south of Hadrian's Wall, it was the site of a series of military forts and later a garrison town which flourished until the fifth century.

The area now on view is only the nucleus of the garrison town. The museum contains a rich selection of finds from the forts and town.

This copy is in Very Good condition. There is some very minor coloring of the pages. There is some very minor shelf wear. As always, the photos are of the book you will receive.
